From hesitation to participation
I'm Nasir Engineer is the Founder of Talk to Anyone. But this didn’t come naturally to me.
I spent most of my 20s being awkward, hesitant and ignorant about connecting with people. I was hard to see and hard to hear. I didn't know how to speak with confidence, sustain a conversation or get people to take me seriously.
If you’ve ever felt this way, I get it. What changed everything for me was improv - the practice of being present, spontaneous and real in the moment.
Over 12+ years of improv training, performance and facilitation, I noticed something: The same skills that improve improvisation also improve real-world communication - presence, responsiveness, listening, comfort under uncertainty.
Yet most communication learning was still heavily theory-driven. But we are a more experiential alternative.
Talk to Anyone is a space where you don’t just learn communication — you practice it, experience it and grow into it.
My teachings are aligned to help you move past self-doubt, hesitation and become the person who can walk into any room and talk to anyone.
